PAC – Programmable Motion controllers

The compact controls RP1, RP2 and RP0 represent the current push-products of Robox SPA.
They have been designed to make the most of distributed electronics such as servo drives and remote I/O.
They can be expanded by inserting the expansion I/O modules directly to the right of the control using the integrated AXIOLINE connection.
The application software developed through the RDE3 development environment “runs” on all motion controllers.

RP2
It represents the top of the range and is used in very demanding applications with a high number of axes to control. It allows to fully exploit the performances of the EtherCAT fieldbus being able to push the data exchange frequency up to 2 Khz (500μs).
The WIFI connection makes it possible to connect to the integrated web server from any smart phone.
Furthermore, through the WAN port, interfacing to the factory network is easy and oriented towards INDUSTRY 4.0 technologies.
In the Bus slave version (AS1018.012) it can also be connected to a Profinet network.

RP0
It is used in heavy applications but with a limited number of axes to control. It allows to fully exploit the performances of the EtherCAT fieldbus being able to push the data exchange frequency up to 1 Khz (1000μs).

RP1
It is used in the vast majority of applications. Even in the presence of a high number of axes it can reach a data exchange rate of up to 500Hz (2ms).

Novità: µRP-2 (micro RP-2)

In a mere 55x80x34 mm and a total volume of almost 1/7 of its big brother (RP-2), it represents the milestone of miniaturization without sacrificing computing power.
It can be used in really demanding applications with a high number of axes to control. It allows the full performance of the EtherCAT fieldbus to be exploited by being able to achieve a cyclic data exchange frequency of 2 kHz (500 μs).
Thanks to the integration of an Ethernet switch with 4 externally available ports, it provides maximum connectivity without the need for additional components.
In the Axioline version (AS1019.011) it fully supports the wide range of AXIOLINE’s expansion modules.
